Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) says

"They tend to sell you all these fairy tales of how good the culture is, and work environment but it's always the bosses, VPs, CEOs, and founder that's not on the floor every single day. Start out jobNot a career"

Delivery Driver (Former Employee) says

"Management is only concerned about hitting goals that increase their merit. They have no sense of support, they do not train according to their own video protocols, you will be held accountable beyond a reasonable expectation, and will certainly be paid less than whoever is hired after you, for you to train and be responsible for..then when you speak up you have a bad attitude. Not a career.."

Driver/Operator dispatcher (Former Employee) says

"Not a work friendly environment. HD Supply does not care about its employees. It only cares about profits. It puts far too much pressure on its management which in turn puts the pressure on all the employees. When you have district manager is coming in from another state they make employees feel uncomfortable and unappreciated. When HD Supply took over Our company I feel they completely ruined it. They let go everybody at corporate and then said they did not fire them they gave them the opportunity to relocate to Georgia who’s going to uproot their whole family?"

Facility Manager (Former Employee) says

"The flower mound DC is a complete nightmare. Managers are not supportive. Employees do as they please. Customer orders are always wrong. Corporate only cares about Atlanta and the rest of the company is left to pick up the scraps. The worst company I have ever worked for hands down.none.too many to list."

A Nobody (Former Employee) says

"HD Supply has undergone many changes through the coarse of my time there, and sadly it was not good changes. Leadership blatantly picks favorites, leaving skilled and well qualified associates pigeon-holed with no hope of advancement. This stems from a culture of jealousy by these leaders who can never accept lower-level associates possessing more knowledge and experience than they do. When faced with such associates, rather than rejoice at the fact they have people who can bring success to the company, they instead make a concerted effort to keep them down both in terms of position and pay. Personally speaking, this is what I experienced. When I arrived at HD Supply I came with a wealth of industry experience from my time in the construction trade as a Chief Estimator and Project Manager. Sadly, after a change in leadership I was relegated to "muppet" status, where I was expected to train and mentor soon to be managers, yet being told I could not advance. I worked at different branches in that capacity in the hopes of being given the opportunity to advance, but being told an emphatic no. The end came for me after I became ill, on the job no less and as a result of being told to do something no one person should have done alone. Of course, after becoming ill everyone from leadership to HR took the "innocence" approach in that; "no one told you to do that"! So when my doctor sent me back to work on modified duties, it was then the harassment started in which I was no longer on the counter or mentoring, but put in the role of shipping and receiving where I pretty much reached"

Customer Service II (Current Employee) says

"I have been with HD Supply for over two years and plan to leave as soon as I can. There is no room to advance unless you're the managers pet, being good at your job isn't enough. The pay is mediocre and so are the benefits. I've talked to countless fellow employees who say the same thing and feel stuck in their dead-end job. Management is a complete joke, they are two faced, show blatant favoritism and use employees any chance they can get. The work culture is poor, it's cliquey, people gossip constantly and spread rumors. It feels like High School all over again. Everyone appears to be miserable who works here including the managers who do very little of anything. Find another job where there's a future and you aren't treated like garbage"

Order Selector (Former Employee) says

"My personal opinion, they where to focused on my personal business. Would ask things that didn’t pertain to work. They made Promises with no intent to fulfill them. Misinformed me about different things which led to me just putting my two week in."

Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) says

"DONT WORK HERE 16-17 hour work days. They make you start working at 3 am and you leave at 6pm but they only pay you 40 Hours even though you worked over 70 hours a week . They offer free lunch because their is no time to leave and go get food. Huge dome cameras all over the ceiling like prison. One of the Male Managers is SUPER BI POLAR stay away."

Driver (Former Employee) says

"Over worked under paid. My manager had expectations for me to complete while the other two employees stayed up from at the count and did nothing. Not even when there was down time. Extremely stressful environment to work in for the amount of money they pay you.NothingEverything"

Anonymous (Former Employee) says

"The only consistent thing about this company is change in management, not a place with a solid foundation. The pay is not up to par with the job expectations. The tools needed to get the job done are not provided but the expectation stay the same!!"

Material Handler (Current Employee) says

"they give you no raises. they force you to transfer. they do not care about they're workers at all. bad place to work for. im looking for a new job as we speak."
